Hello, my name is Katie.

I’m a nutritionist.

Nutrition:

I love food. But I haven’t always had a good relationship with it. Years of eating rubbish, skipping meals, fad diets, counting calories, binge drinking, and an eating disorder resulted in a big decline in both my physical and mental health. Being diagnosed with clinical depression and hypothyroidism in my mid-twenties began a shift toward researching the link between nutrition and health and how what I ate could help balance my hormones and improve my mental health.

From there, I was hooked…

I decided to investigate how diet and lifestyle may have impacted other areas of my life and the more I discovered, the more I wanted to know!

This led me to study at degree level with the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition for three years and turn my obsession with food into a way of helping and inspiring others. Being a mother of two young children, I am now even more driven towards preparing and eating delicious, high quality, locally sourced food, alongside educating them on why this is important for our health and wellbeing.
